The San Diego Symphony has canceled its Sunday, August 20 concert of "When The Saints Go Marching In with Byron Stripling," and wishes that residents stay safe as Hurricane Hilary approaches Southern California. Ticketholders will receive a refund for their purchased tickets; patrons who pre-ordered food and parking will also receive refunds.
Currently, San Diego Symphony's presentation of Gladys Knight and Patti LaBelle will continue as planned on Saturday, August 19 at 7 PM. The Symphony is in touch with local authorities and will update ticketholders if there are additional changes to its scheduling. (Note for Saturday: umbrellas are not permitted in the venue, but patrons are welcome to bring rain ponchos, jackets or other rain gear.)
San Diego Symphony encourages residents to follow local weather reports via local news sources and at the National Weather Service at www.weather.gov.
