Per recent guidance from the State of California and San Diego County, all patrons attending events and performances will be subject to the guidelines and recommendations set forth below.

Vaccinations & Negative Tests - No Longer Required @ The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park
San Diego Symphony no longer requires audience members to furnish proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result to attend events and performances at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park.

Mask Policy @ The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park
San Diego Symphony strongly encourages the wearing of facial coverings while outdoors at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park. All patrons are required to wear facial covers while indoors. However, vaccinated and unvaccinated audience members are specifically subject to the following guidelines:

  • Fully vaccinated audience members are encouraged to wear facial coverings while attending performances at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park, and are required to wear facial coverings when indoors, including restrooms.
  • Unvaccinated audience members should continue to wear facial coverings while outside, except while eating and drinking, and are required to wear facial coverings when indoors, including restrooms.
  • Facial coverings must cover both the nose and mouth. Bandanas, plastic face shields and coverings with exhalation vents are not considered proper facial coverings.
  • Full vaccination is defined as completion of the two-dose Pfizer or Moderna vaccines or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine administered at least 2 weeks before your scheduled concert date.
