Note: A mandatory 22% service charge is added to your bar or Blais Pre-Order bill. Shell Provisions retains 25% of this mandatory service charge to help defray the costs of operating in a public park, and the remainder is distributed to employees. This charge applies only to bar items and to the Blais Pre-orders. It is not applied at the Prebys Pavilion stands or the Jacobs Park food carts. The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park, through its expanded culinary program The Shell Provisions, offers a wide variety of fresh, locally-sourced options ranging from casual to upscale. Chef Blais returns with an updated “Blais by the Bay” pre-order menu for the Marina and San Diego Row sections. Blais Picnic Boxes are available for pre-order in the Marina, San Diego Row and Parkside sections. In addition to all of the above, a limited "on-site" menu will be available from your seats in the Marina, San Diego Row and Parkside sections. In addition to these choices, tacos, pizza, burgers, salads and vegetarian, vegan and Mediterranean specialties will be available in the Prebys Plaza Dining Pavilion and Market from our local partners.

Ensuring that all concertgoers have a safe and enjoyable experience at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park is our top priority. For the safety of guests, and to expedite security checks and timely entry of the many guests we are expecting in our new venue, outside food and drinks are not permitted inside The Rady Shell. (Exceptions will be made for medically prescribed food/drink.) In an effort to reduce waste, guests are welcome to bring one empty reusable plastic or aluminum water bottle for San Diego Symphony performances only. Bottles can be filled at water refill stations inside the venue. Glass bottles are not permitted. Chef Richard Blais has created a new menu for pre-ordered dinners and Blais Boxes. You must pre-order dinner no later than 4pm of the evening prior to your concert. Pre-ordered dinners ( “Blais by the Bay” ) will be delivered to guests seated at tables in the Marina or San Diego Row sections. Blais Picnic Boxes will be delivered to guests in the Marina, San Diego Row or Parkside sections.  Follow this link to pre-order from The Shell Provisions!

Note: you will need to set up a separate account (i.e. non-Symphony) with Shell Provisions to place these orders. Once you make your food/drink selections and confirm them in the Cart (look for the  "Bag" logo at the upper right), you'll be asked to login or (on your first order) create your new account. Before you select food and drink, you will be asked for your general seating section and your performance date; after you have selected your food and drink, you'll be asked for your exact seat location and preferred delivery time. You will have the option of setting your card as the "default" payment method on your first order going forward. All orders will generate a confirmation e-mail that will come from Shell Provisions (not the San Diego Symphony).
