The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park is open as public park daily from 6:00 AM to 10:30 PM. The public is welcome to enjoy the lawns and seating areas of the venue during these times. This includes times when the San Diego Symphony is rehearsing at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park.
Occasionally, the venue will be in “concert mode” and closed to public access.
The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park and Embarcadero Marina Park South are open daily, 6:00 AM–10:30 PM.

The San Diego Symphony welcomes groups to experience the orchestra at work during rehearsals at the Rady Shell at Jacobs Park. These visits offer a unique opportunity to observe the artistic process up close and to see how musicians and conductors collaborate as they prepare for performance.
Group rehearsal visits are a wonderful way for students, community organizations, and special interest groups to engage with the Symphony in an informal setting. To ensure the best possible experience for both our guests and the musicians, specific guidelines and requirements apply depending on the size and type of the visiting group.
