Rafael Payare conducts a gorgeous program starting with Lili Boulanger's evocations of joy and sorrow, then Gustav Mahler's heartfelt songs about first love, Songs of a Wayfarer, featuring outstanding mezzo-soprano Michelle DeYoung. Piotr Tchaikovsky's rousing and triumphantly Russian Symphony No. 5 concludes the evening.

Please note: Food and beverages may not be brought in to The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park. In an effort to reduce waste, guests are welcome to bring one empty reusable plastic or aluminum water bottle only. Bottles can be filled at water refill stations inside the venue. Glass bottles are not permitted.
